What is an estimate?

The price given is a true estimate of what we expect to charge you. If there are unforeseen circumstances that we could not have been aware, that will affect the price, we will provide you with an updated estimate. You have the right to accept the price or decline. Payment will be required for any work completed up to the point you cancel.

What is a quote?

A quote is a fixed price, between client and trader. A sales quote allows a prospective buyer to see what costs would be involved for the work they would like to have done. Many businesses provide services that cannot have an upfront price, as the costs involved can vary.

What is VAT?

VAT is Value Added Tax, which is 20% on top of your bill, charged by the government.

What is Gas Safe?

Gas Safe is governing body that regulates gas engineers and the gas industry to work to the highest standards.

What is OFTEC?

It is the Industry standard for oil installations and oil servicing. You have to be qualified to work on oil, to self certificate oil servicing and installation of oil boilers.

What is Water Safe?

Water Safe refers to a plumber who has passed Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (a WRAS approved contractor) in the supply of wholesome water to properties
